OMM Department staff and COMP-Northwest medical students will lead attendees through a discussion of the unique history of osteopathic medicine and examine the philosophy behind osteopathic medicine, while providing opportunities for attendees to contribute and ask questions.

 

The Osteopathic Awareness Events, generally held on the second Tuesday of each month at COMP-Northwest in Lebanon and the following Thursday at OPSO in Portland, is sponsored by the WesternU - College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest, and the Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons of Oregon. It is designed to assist students interested in pursuing a career in medicine, or for those wanting to learn more about osteopathic medicine.
