AOA Mid-Year Meeting Brings Policy Changes

The AOA Board of Trustees (BOT) approved policy changes at the MIdYear Meeting on March 1. Approved changes include:


Resolution B-1: Reduces the required percent of DO speakers from 50% to 30% for AOA 1-A CME credit certification.


Resolution B-6: Requires the AOA to appoint state and specialty osteopathic association directors to AOA bureaus, councils, commissions, and task forces.


Resolution B-9: Requires the AOA to provide physician, resident, and student data to state and specialty osteopathic associations as allowed per law and privacy preferences of members.
