Join us on the University of Oregon Campus for a gathering of the osteopathic profession and CME



Noon-1:30pm: Luncheon open to all DOs, Osteopathic Residents, Medical Students, and Family in Oregon!


1:30-5:00pm: All are invited to stay for the complimentary CME presentation on the Science of Health Nutrition


Feel free to participate in both, or either of these events

Both events will be held at in Erb Memorial Union, ERB 230/Swindells on the University of Oregon Campus, located at 1395 University Street, Eugene, OR 97403. 


Special thanks to the UofO PreSOMA club for coordinating the event...Pre-SOMA Students, please make sure to register for CME so we can plan accordingly for the program.


About the CME Program

This event will include an introduction on the science of healthy nutrition, detailing evidence based resources and explore the significant impact diet and nutrition can have on physicians and their patients. This will be an interactive program in a small group setting, providing opportunities for attendees focus the learning on aspects specific to their practice.



1. Discuss and understand the root causes of chronic disease
2. Explore resources for evidence based nutrition in the treatment and prevention of disease

Statement on CME Credit

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregonis accredited by the American Osteopathic Association
to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. OPSO designates this program for a maximum of 3.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.


About Charlie Ross, DO, FACOEP

Charlie has been a practicing osteopathic physician in Oregon for about 38 years. He graduated from Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1975 and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Practice. Currently, he is Medical Director for Samaritan Lebanon Hospital Emergency Department and loves interacting with the osteopathic medical students at COMP-Northwest in Lebanon, Oregon. He has spent years researching the best exercise plan, the best diet, and ways to manage stress.
