On Thursday, March 21, OPSO is hosting a DO Day at the state capitol. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for osteopathic medical students and physicians to meet with their legislators, learn more about the legislative process, and help us advocate for OPSO bill 3342 which would require Oregon hospitals, certain health care facilities and hospitals to offer whole food, plant-based meals in order to ensure healthy food choices are available for Oregonians.

No advocacy experience is required - this is an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and start making connections with your state representatives so you can be an advocate for the profession.
