Tell us about your education and your current position.

I knew that I wanted to live in the Pacific-NW when I first came to Oregon in the summer before my senior year of high school. The green and vibrant forest entranced me into choosing University of Oregon for my undergraduate education. Here, I completed my Bachelors in Biology while developing a love for medicine, especially working with underserved populations. After working for a year and a half out of undergrad, I was accepted into Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW in Lebanon. I am currently finishing up my first year of medical school and excited about what is to come.

Where are you originally from

I spent most of my life growing up in Phoenix Arizona, however I have spent earlier chunks of time living in Maine and California.

If you couldn't pursue a career in medicine, what would you do?

I would love to be a chef or a food critic.

What skill or hobby have you always wanted to master?

Glassblowing or pottery

Best advice to younger self

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. Give everything a chance.
